Tune In & Takeout is an ongoing collaborative partnership between Grubhub and Amazon to promote new Prime Video shows and movies, and pair them with a curated takeout recommendation to encourage people to order takeout while they watch.
This unique program also works to strengthen public awareness about Amazon and Grubhub’s larger partnership, including free Grubhub+ for all Amazon Prime members. Communications about the program regularly drove a marked increase in Grubhub+ sign ups.
As a lead designer on the project, I worked across teams at Grubhub and Prime Video to develop a unique visual language that balanced the branding and interests of both companies. Final assets included emails, social posts, rich pushes, animations, Amazon Fire TV ad placements and more.
Prime logo, Prime Video logo, “dimple” shape, poster art and promotional imagery for Prime Video titles are copyright Amazon and Amazon Prime Video.

Print and digital out of home campaign for Grubhub’s Q3 brand campaign. Unique “Grubhubisms” were paired with playful imagery from a custom shoot to urge consumers to Go for Grubhub.
My work included developing a unique look and feel for the overall campaign as well as leading art direction for a custom photoshoot, featuring both food and people, to connect back to the copy strategy. Final ads were displayed across brand trains, subway stations and commuter halls throughout New York City.

As the primary freelance designer for the Elks National Foundation, I lead design direction for all of their annual donor events and outreach each year. Through collaboration with the Communications Manager and Senior Leadership, I've developed a colorful and clean yet vintage aesthetic for their mailed collateral to donors and volunteers nationwide. Vintage inspired typography, original illustrations and a patriotic inspired color family contribute to the classic Americana design aesthetic.

Each year, AIDS Foundation Chicago hosts an annual meeting to update its board, donors, partners and supporters of its work from the previous year. At the annual meeting, the annual report is revealed. In collaboration with numerous teams across the organization, I develop a theme and visual direction, including a branded mark, color palette and type direction for use across web, print, email and social for both the annual report and the annual meeting. The ultimate challenge is to represent the organization’s work in a simple, clear and compelling way and to promote the annual meeting to encourage people to attend and learn about AFC’s work from the previous year.

Digital campaign to encourage voter participation in the 2020 election. The ultimate goal was to educate and mobilize the community on how the 2020 election might impact people living with HIV, LGBTQ+ and other Illinois residents. Deliverables included social media posts and animated gifs for Instagram, Facebook and email as well as social share images to accompany blog posts. As a nonprofit, the organization could not endorse or support a particular candidate so the design was clean, minimal and direct, with a focus on the issues that impacted voters and mattered to AFC’s audiences.

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks have a pledge "So long as there are veterans, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks will never forget them." The Elks National Veterans Service Commission takes that pledge one step further, and promises service to the nation's veterans and military members, with a special focus on service to those in need.
The commission approached me to create a dynamic design their 2017-18 annual report, to showcase and highlight their important work helping veterans through programming, volunteer opportunities, and grant making while also acknowledging the volunteers that ensure the success of the mission. The printed report also highlighted important data points and financial information. The final report was mailed to thousands of volunteers around the country to further embolden them to serve veterans in need.
