I’m a Chicago based self-taught designer and art director with over 10 years of experience. After wearing a variety of hats in the nonprofit sector, I was drawn to the problem solving and creativity inherent in design. Art and design have always been a driving force in my life, from being voted “most artistic” in high school, through my art history education at DePaul University and now through my career as a designer.
My understanding of art and design history, my can-do attitude from experience in the nonprofit sector and my motivation from being self-taught gives me a unique edge and perspective with which I approach all of my professional challenges. I have particular experience and passion for branding, typography, illustration, art direction, photoshoots, and digital design. I was previously Senior Graphic Designer at AIDS Foundation Chicago, Designer at Grubhub and am currently Lead Designer at OpenGov, in addition to freelancing with a variety of clients on the side.
When I’m not designing, you can find me doing yoga and pilates, reading, baking and enjoying all of the best food, beers and coffee around Chicago.
